Karthik Swarnam is vice president of technology and orchestration for the AT&T Chief Security Office. He leads a global team of security professionals across AT&T business units who protect the company’s information and work at the cutting edge of data-driven security solutions.
Karthik previously served as chief security officer for DIRECTV. He was TransUnion’s first global CISO and security practice leader at Accenture. He emphasizes security as an enabler – protecting critical data and network operations while implementing the technology and initiatives required for business growth.
Karthik holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Wayne State University and B.S. in instrumentation engineering from Annamalai University. He is an active advisor and mentor to chief security officers and companies of all sizes.
