Robert Israel is the CIO with John C. Lincoln (JCL) Hospitals in Phoenix, Arizona. As the HIPAA Security Officer for JCL, he is also responsible for ensuring that his facilities meet or exceed federally mandated guidelines for the physical and electronic security of patient data. While at JCL, Israel has implemented a new clinical system, as well as other supporting systems, with an estimated savings of $1.5 million per year.
