It’s been said, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” In some IT organizations, you’ll find a few overzealous proponents of faster and faster, pushing for business agility, but that doesn’t providing consistent value creation over the long term, and can lose those individuals that got the organization where it is. What is the price business pays, knowingly or unknowingly, for agility?
