Tanya Hannah believes using technology in new, surprising and smart ways to ensure all King County residents can thrive. Ms. Hannah oversees all teams supporting 64 lines of business within the County. That includes everything from emergency services to the healthcare, transportation and everything in between. She’s passionate about ensuring King County residents have equitable access to digital technology so they enjoy full participation in our society, democracy and economy. Under her leadership, the Center for Digital Government has for the past four years recognized the King County Department of Information Technology (KCIT) as one of the top digital counties in the nation. KCIT has likewise been recognized for the past last few years as a CIO 100 award winner for technology innovation and has been awarded several Digital Edge and Government Experience awards.
