View all posts Greg McMillen is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), serves as a board member for NPower, which the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) and local partners have created as a permanent resource to address nonprofit technology needs and resources, and also serves as chair of both the API/Standards and Next Generation subcommittees, national technology steering committees (TSC) for community foundations.
The TSC provides direction with software development and innovation for the community foundation field. Greg McMillen has over 18 years experience providing technical resources to non-profits. From 1992 to 1998, Greg served as the Information Systems Manager for Community Centers of Indianapolis; a countywide human services agency dedicated to serving the needs of this community. Mr. McMillen was responsible for the design of analytical reports on client demographics, service utilization, customer needs, trends and performance.
During this period Mr. McMillen served as Board President of the Indianapolis Economic Forum. The Indianapolis Economic Forum is a statewide association of economists, professors, investors and other professionals with interest in Indiana economics. From 1989 to 1992, Greg served as Research Project Coordinator and Data Analyst at Methodist Hospital. Mr. McMillen was responsible for coordinating research projects based on patient and service delivery information. Prior to his career in information management, Greg worked as a chemical engineer at Specialty Compounds and as a Case Manager at Southlake Center for Mental Health.
