As Chief Technology Officer, John leads technology and innovation at Wheels. His teams are responsible for developing and managing our client-facing applications, systems infrastructure and security, telecommunications, internal networks, and business continuance functions. Wheels’ applications serve more than 300,000 business users and process more than 40M transactions annually. John has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience in fields like eCommerce, software development, datacenter design, systems architecture, and customer service tools. Most recently, John served as the Chief Technology Officer for FTD Companies, a leading provider of floral-related products, services and technologies. At FTD, he ran one of the largest retail websites in North America, handling millions of orders and customer interactions each year. Prior to FTD, John spent 14 years at Applied Systems, the largest independent software company in the property & casualty insurance industry, where he held a progression of IT management roles, ultimately serving as EVP of Technology. Throughout his career, John has been active in a number of technology forums, and has appeared as a guest speaker at the ACORD|LOMA conference and various CxO summits. He is also an accomplished writer, having contributed articles to business and technology publications like Independent Agent and National Underwriter. David is the Global Director of Education at Trend Micro and is a renowned authority in the world of SPAM, Adware, computer viruses, and computer security. He has over 25 years of experience in education and support field in related disciplines. David has been a featured speaker at trade and technical conferences including COMDEX, Virus Bulletin, EICAR, RSA, Infosec London, GiTex in Dubai. He served in the national Y2K center and co chaired a committee meeting in the White House.
