Jon Fieldman is Chief Information Officer of DSC Logistics, a national supply chain management company headquartered in Des Plaines. DSC helps customers such as Kimberly Clark, Kellogg's, Unilever Best Foods, Pioneer and Philip Morris achieve their business goals by managing change and information in the supply chain. As CIO, Jon is responsible for the information and technology throughout DSC's network, including over 25 warehouses, DSC's National Service Center and DSC's Data Center. He leads the Director/Senior Manager forum and, as a member of the DSC executive team, participates in the strategic leadership of the company. Jon received his B.A. from Wesleyan University and graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1984, where he served as Editor on the Law Review. In 1985, following a clerkship in Montgomery, Alabama for the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Jon began his career as attorney at Sidley & Austin in Chicago. Jon practiced in a variety of areas of the law including litigation, negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts and regulatory work. In 1994, Jon joined The Resolution Group, a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation, where he oversaw complex reinsurance litigation worth hundreds of millions of dollars. In 1996, Jon accepted TRG's offer to become its first ever Chief Information Officer and developed and successfully implemented a strategy to migrate TRG off its mainframe, cutting its IT budget in half.
