Russ Bostick joined Conseco in February 2005 as executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of the company. In August 2008, he was promoted to executive vice president, technology and operations. Bostick is responsible for all enterprise technology and operations shared services. Russ is also responsible for the IT that supports Colonial Penn Life Insurance Company. Before joining Conseco, Russ served for seven years as chief technology officer of Chase Insurance, the insurance arm of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and also as CIO for Zurich Life U.S., where he led an IT organization through two transformations in less than one year, as Bank One and then Chase ultimately acquired the company. Before Chase, Russ was chief technology officer for Corporate Software & Technology, a licensed software reseller in Norwood, Massachusetts.
