In March 2008, Seattle Children’s Hospital welcomed Wes Wright as vice president and chief technology officer. Wright brings a wealth of information technology experience within the health care industry. Wright joined Children’s from Scripps Health in San Diego, where he was deputy chief information officer. He was responsible for a range of information services including voice and data networks, business and clinical application and interconnectivity with biomedical devices.
Prior to working at Scripps Health, he served in different information technology leadership roles within the U.S. Air Force health system. He is affiliated with the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Wright received his M.B.A from the University of New Mexico, and undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland.
