Dr. Vikram Sobti is the Chief Medical Information officer of Norwegian American Hospital, the strongest safety net hospital in the Chicagoland area. There he oversees all IT including developing/designing and implementing all strategies to create robust clinical information systems that assist clinicians in delivery of care, patient safety, efficiency and improve quality. Dr. Sobti is a board certified radiologist with advanced training in Clinical Informatics, Imaging, Management and Strategy. He has an extensive background in hospital administration strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and IT implementation. He concurrently works simultaneously as a Teleradiologist at Virtual Radiologic in Oak Park and as a Medical Liaison to Informatics at the Chicago Department of Public Health. Dr. Sobti was also a Fellow of Clinical Informatics and Fellow of Advanced Abdominal Imaging at University of Chicago.
