Tony Bender is the Chief Information Officer at Alberto Culver Company, a leading Beauty Care company within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. He has worked with a wide variety of food, beverage, personal care, house wares and soft goods CPG companies, along with their suppliers and retail customers. Tony is recognized as one of the leading experts in the management of Information Technology and Business Process Improvement within the consumer products industry.

Earlier in his career, Tony served as SVP & CIO for Relizon, a document management and customer communication company; VP & CIO for Dan River, a consumer bedding and towel manufacturer; Director Systems Development for Springs Industries, a consumer bedding, towel and window treatment manufacturer; and Senior Manager, Price Waterhouse, as a consulting practice leader in their Supply Chain Management Consulting Practice.

Tony is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Consumer Goods Technology magazine, member of the GMA/FPA Information Systems Committee and a frequent speaker on topics relating to technology innovation within the CPG industry.
