Dr. Timothy M. Chester is Vice Provost and Chief Information Officer at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Tim is a recognized authority in three areas: the design and support of technology services for international university campuses; the use of XML to integrate client-server and Web-based software applications with mainframe systems and other enterprise system architectures; and, strategy and operational support regarding the use of information technology in emergency operations and crisis management.
