As general manager of the sales and use tax line of business at Sovos, Terry drives market leadership, growth and adoption of Sovos Sales and Use Tax solutions. Approaching things through the lens of an entrepreneur is something Terry feel strongly in and encourages his teams to apply in their own careers. A true entrepreneurial at heart, Terry got his start while a student at university, launching his first business in technology consulting. His career is dotted with a number of other successful launches throughout his career, along with leadership positions at several highly respected consulting and technology companies such as Arthur Andersen and Oracle NetSuite. Terry’s career came full circle when Concordia University honored him as one of their “50 Under 50 Most Influential Business Leaders.” Terry has a strong belief in leaving people better off than when they came – building a ‘social currency’ to use to enrich the professional and personal networks around you. And one that continues to pay dividends through the strong relationships he has fostered over the years. Terry has a Bachelor of Economics from Concordia University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College with concentrations in Marketing and Business Strategy.
