Terri joined eBay Inc. in June of 2006 as vice president of operations. In this role she is responsible for the day to day operations of the eBay Marketplaces technology platform in addition to server, storage, and network technologies. She also has responsibility for Information Security for eBay Marketplaces. Prior to joining eBay, Terri was a Sr. Director of Enterprise Network Engineering for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., where she was responsible for the company’s communications network infrastructure and radio frequency (RF) devices for the Wal-Mart Stores, Sam’s Clubs, Distribution Centers, and Office locations worldwide.
Prior to this, she had responsibility for Unix Engineering, Internet Engineering, Open Systems Database Engineering, Messaging, Imaging, and Data Transfer. Terri began her career with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in August, 1987 as a programmer for Store Systems. Throughout her career at Wal-Mart, Terri was a key developer on the store’s SMART (In-Store Processor) system, she designed and developed Wal-Mart’s first receiving system deployed on wireless handheld devices, was manager for the Year 2000 project, and was a winner of the Sam M. Walton Award of Excellence.
