Teresa (Terry) Shuchart was named Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on December 15, 2012.
Terry has over 26 years in the Information Technology field including leading large system development projects, strategic planning, customer service, contract management, financial management, systems development and design, help desk management, computer operations and training. She served as the Chief Information Officer for the PA Department of Public Welfare, Aging and Insurance for 8 years.
Terry earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Computer Applications from Penn State University. She was also a graduate of the Leadership Development Institute for Women in State Government. She currently serves as the President of the American Public Human Services (APHSA) - IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM).
