Steve has been working in the Healthcare IT field for over 23 years. Steve was named the Chief Information Officer of University of Colorado Health (UCHealth) in 2012. UCHealth is a Colorado-based healthcare system that includes five hospitals and hundreds of clinics throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska. Steve and his team have been focused on implementing consolidated and standardized IT systems across all of the UCHealth hospitals and clinics, including an Epic EHR and Lawson ERP solution. Steve was previously the CIO of University of Colorado Hospital from 2009 to 2012 where he oversaw the implementation of the Epic EMR and Lawson ERP solutions there. Prior to that, Steve was the CIO at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware for 5 years. In addition to the EMR and ERP background, Steve has extensive experience with Health Information Exchange, Interactive Patient Care Systems, Patient Portals, Analytics and Telehealth.
