Steve is a pioneer in the convergence of Lean thinking and information systems. In 2005 he published Lean Enterprise Systems, Using IT for Continuous Improvement (John R Wiley publication) the first book to introduce the emerging discipline of Lean IT. In 2010, Steve co-authored Lean IT, Enabling and Sustaining Your Lean Enterprise (Productivity Press publication) which was awarded the 2011 Shingo Prize for Research. He serves as a member of the LEI Faculty. As a consultant and coach for more than 25 years, Steve has empowered countless enterprises, across a wide range of industries, to realize significant value through successful IT and Lean transformation initiatives.
