Sanjay is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Porter Memorial Health System in Valparaiso, Indiana. With over 13 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry and as a CIO and CTO, Sanjay has been instrumental in helping organizations achieve a dispropotionate strategic advantage by innovative application and adoption of technology. At Porter Memorial, Sanjay introduced, the first of its kind, Just In Time patient information system which allowed a physician to receive 95% of patient's information on a pda within 3 minutes of entering the hospital. This resulted in average time savings of 30 minutes per physician per day. Before joining Porter Memorial, Sanjay helped create value in healthcare using technology by serving as the CIO at St. Vincent Hospital System in Santa Fe - New Mexico, as a founding member of a healthcare technology startup, and as a consulting manager in healthcare practice at Deloitte and Touche. Sanjay holds an MBA degree from Georgia State University, Atlanta and is also a Certified Medical Practice Executive.
