Ross E. Wescott, CISA, CIA, CCP is chief IT auditor of Portland General Electric Company (PGE). He is currently a member of ISACA’s Credentialing Board and Cloud II Task Force.Wescott has held positions in ISACA, including the Willamette Valley Chapter, since 1989. He has been published in the ISACA Journal, Internal Auditor, and EDPACS, and has spoken at regional and international meetings hosted by ISACA, the IIA, MIS, and others.
Wescott joined PGE (a $1.8B (annual revenues) electric utility company) as the chief IT auditor in July 2004. He has 26 years of IT audit and audit management experience in every aspect of IT auditing: security, networking, systems development, strategic planning, project management, disaster planning, and change control, among others. He is an active consultant for his company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort.
