Robert is currently a technology executive at the 7th largest US Based Bank, SunTrust Banks. SunTrust Banks, Inc., with total assets in excess of $177 billion, is one of the nation's largest and strongest financial holding companies. He manages technology investment portfolio for all core banking systems as well as the retail delivery channels which includes support for 2500+ ATMs, 1700+ retail branches including supermarket branches, and support of 1500+ seat call centers across several locations. Prior to his existing role, Robert was the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Product and Technology with Vital Processing Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Total Systems (NYSE: TSS) where his retooling of the IT organization resulting in the most reliable platforms in the payments industry. Robert was also involved with CitiStreet, a joint venture of CitiGroup and State Street Bank, in the benefits outsourcing industry. Robert has years of experience in large-scale, technology-intensive service businesses as well as complex technology environments. Robert started his career at Barnett Bank in their technology subsidiary where he held several key senior leadership positions.
