As the Chief Information Officer for the Siemens Cluster Canada, Peter is responsible for the management of strategic information technology for several Siemens operating companies in the region. Peter has over 15 years of experience in energy, industry, healthcare, technology, communications and financial services industries with a main focus on mergers & acquisitions, business integrations, cost reduction programs and corporate reorganizations. He began his career with Siemens in 1993 and has held various IT leadership positions for Siemens in the United States and Germany. Most recently, Peter was the Senior Vice President and CIO for Siemens Financial Services, Inc. Prior to moving to Canada, he had an assignment as an Information Systems Auditor in Munich, Germany conducting strategic IT audits of global organizations within Siemens AG. Before working for Siemens, Peter ran his own software and hardware development company, servicing customers in the Automotive and Healthcare industries.
