Author - Molly A. O’Neill

Molly O’Neill was confirmed by the Senate as EPA’s chief information officer and assistant administrator for the Office of Environmental Information in December 2006. As EPA's CIO, she is a member of the Federal CIO Council, where she currently serves as the co-chair of the Architecture and Infrastructure Committee. Before joining the EPA, Molly was state director for the National Environmental Information Exchange at the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) where she led the efforts of environmental department participants from every state. Molly also served as the executive coordinator of the Exchange Network. In recognition for her leadership, she received a 2004 Federal 100 award as one of the top executives influencing government technology.
