As Shaw’s senior vice president and chief information officer, Mr. Tayeh is responsible for Shaw’s information technology initiatives, business systems and process re-engineering/transformation.
Mr. Tayeh joined Shaw in January 2011, with more than 25 years of international business experience. Prior to Shaw, he was senior vice president and group chief information officer at Technip, a leader in engineering, technologies and project management for the oil and gas industry, where he led a worldwide information technology organization with record internal customer satisfaction. Mr. Tayeh also served as the chief executive officer and president of TechnipNet, a subsidiary focused on providing information technology and telecommunications to Technip Group companies.
Mr. Tayeh previously worked at KBR as director of information technology at its European headquarters in London. He also served at Cimflex Teknowledge as vice president of engineering, as well as various positions in the aerospace industry at Lockheed Martin and Loral.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Pittsburg State University, a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in computer data management from Webster University.
