As the VP-I.T. and Chief Information Officer, Mark Lohsen is responsible for evolving VESNA’s systems while managing the daily operations of all I.T. activities hosted at the Networking Operations Center in Greenfield, WI. The I.T. department provides all "back office" services in support of the three divisions of VESNA, its 12,000 employees, and its 300+ field offices. This same support is being extended to sister companies in North America, with the hosting of Veolia Energy, Veolia Transportation, and Veolia Water equipment and staff at the NOC.
Prior to joining Veolia, Mark was VP – I.T. and CIO for IKON Technology Services – a division of IKON Office Solutions. Mark spent the previous 20 years as a business systems consultant, leading the development of integrated networks and software applications for major companies. Mark served as a Senior Manager in the consulting divisions of Ernst & Young and KPMG-Peat Marwick.
