Mark Dajani is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Kraft Foods. Mark is responsible for the company's information systems and technology, and for the shared services organization which includes the shared service centers in San Antonio, Texas and European business service centers in Madrid, Spain and Bratislava, Slovakia. In addition, Mark is responsible for the travel services team and the leadership of the ongoing shared services initiatives.
Prior to joining Kraft Foods in 2004, Mark spent 13 years at Altria. He led several functions within the Information Services organization at Philip Morris USA Inc., including Director of Application Development & Maintenance for Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance. He became Chief Technology Officer there in 2000. In 2003, Mark was named Director, Global Technology, Altria Corporate Services, Inc., responsible for increasing IT value across the Altria family of companies by managing the Global IT portfolio. Mark joined Kraft Foods as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in September 2004. During this assignment, Mark and his team developed and implemented a global framework for organizing technology at the company such as technical roadmaps covering collaboration, connectivity, application development and middleware, business intelligence and data management and end user computing. Mark was named Vice President, Account Management in December 2006. He was appointed Senior Vice President, Information Systems in April 2007, and Senior Vice President and CIO in April 2009.
Mark began his career by constructing and managing manufacturing facilities for Frito Lay, Inc. and the Perrier Group of America.
