Lisa Kerns is the Chief Information Officer for Fareway Stores, a grocery retailer with 120+ locations across five Midwest states. As CIO, Lisa provides vision and direction for the technologies and solutions that support and drive the business, including retail operations, consumer contact management, software development, business applications strategy, analytics, and infrastructure management. With a passion for providing meaningful and enriching customer experiences, she specializes in customer strategy, loyalty programs, digital commerce, retail store execution, and marketing excellence. In previous roles, she has helped companies develop global business and IT roadmaps, recommending and delivering revenue-generating capabilities and brand strategies for the food manufacturing, grocery, general merchandise, and fashion apparel industries. Prior to joining Fareway, Lisa worked with Luxottica Retail (Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters, Oakley, Ray Ban) and grocery retailer The Kroger Co. Originally from Chicago, Lisa received a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Northern Illinois University, and holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati.
