Larry S. Thomas joined Landstar in 1994 as Director of Information Services at one of its subsidiaries. In 2000, Larry was named Vice President of Research and Engineering for Landstar System, Inc. and relocated to Jacksonville, Florida . The following year he was promoted to Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining Landstar Larry served in various positions at IBM, Whirlpool Corporation and Kimbal International.
