He is author of Ethics of Big Data (O'Reilly Media, 2012) exploring a framework for making decisions about data based on individual and organizational values. He is a strong advocate of collaborative design and visual thinking tools. Co-founder of Design+Strategy forum and a frequent speaker, workshop designer and facilitator, and consultant on data ethics topics. A 20-year veteran of technology and business strategy and analysis. His work has been published on Forbes.com, MIT Sloan Management Review, Computer World, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies journal, and by the Peter Drucker Institute. He is a former Principal Consultant with Cap Gemini and holds a BA in philosophy from Reed College.
