Named Vice President, Simplified Passenger Travel and Chief Information Officer in 2005, Kevin Molloy oversees all aspects of Information Technology infrastructure and applications at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). He is responsible for managing relationships with airlines, business partners and government agencies to evolve policies, procedures and technologies to support streamlined processing for airport users. Earlier, as Vice President, Information Technology, Kevin's year 2000 readiness strategy, Y2K@YVR, received formal recognition from IATA and the US Department of Transport. Kevin serves on the Airports Council International (ACI) World IT and World Facilitation Committees and was the ACI representative on the IATA Common Use Self Service Management Group. He is vice-chair of the IATA Simplifying Passenger Travel Interest Group. In year 2000, Kevin was named Chief Information Officer of the Year by the Computer Information Processing Society and Chief Information Officers Association of British Columbia.
