Joe is a seasoned information technology executive, consultant and speaker. His former positions include CTO of the McDonald's Corporation, Vice President of Corporate Technology for JP Morgan Bank and CTO of the National Transportation Exchange. He has also held senior professional and executive roles with Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Sybase, Inc. and Oracle Corporation. Joe is a frequent lecturer in the Kellogg School of Management MBA program where he presents on the topics of IT project management for executives, risk management, IT investment analysis, portfolio management, and outsourcing.

In addition, he has lectured at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business and at DePaul University on a range of topics including: Legacy Systems Integration Strategies in Today's Internet World, Creating Competitive Advantage in the New Economy, Developing Scalable Product Platforms, Strategic Trade-Offs in Developing Information Technology Products, and How to engage with your CIO / CTO.
