Giampiero has more than 30 years’ international experience managing complex Information Systems in four different industries (Pharmaceutical/Biotech, Information Technology, Finance and Construction). In parallel to his role as Group CIO, he also served as board member of an Information Technology Group and has been in charge of the Astaldi’s Organization department. In his long professional carrier, he successfully coordinated dozens of complex, worldwide projects in several IT areas (ERP, ECM, ERM, BI, EAM, Cloud, Process reengineering, Cyber-security, Smart-working, Disaster-Recovery, etc. ) employing large multidisciplinary and multi-ethnic teams. Fluent in Italian, English and French (with good Spanish knowledge), he has spent his life promoting the dynamics of open innovation, with a strong emphasis on Digital Transformation in the latest years. In November 2019, he has been listed in the Registry of the Innovation Manager held by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE).
