Gerry Lewis
VP of IT Strategy and Business Development, Ascension Health

Gerry Lewis currently serves Ascension as Vice President of IT Strategy and Business Development, a role in which he aligns IT capabilities and services to enable and support Ascension’s business and clinical strategies.
Gerry provides leadership to support IT strategy development and strategy process management, including account executive duties for designated Ascension subsidiaries and functions. He is also an active member of the Ascension Information Services (AIS) Executive Council and is currently a participant in the Ascension Executive Formation program.
Prior to his current role, Gerry served as Regional Chief Information Officer for the former AIS West Region and as CIO for the Seton Healthcare Family in Austin, Texas, and in various leadership roles at Dell, Inc. and Compaq Computer Corporation, and was an analyst with the Central Intelligence Agency.
Gerry earned a master’s degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
