Gerry was most recently the Chief Technological Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering at Evident Software in Bloomfield, N.J. Prior to that, he was the Chief Information Technology Officer at Xcel Energy in Denver. Coady led Xcel to the top spot in the energy and utilities industry in the 2004 InformationWeek 500 Top IT organizations list, and the 20th spot overall that year. He has also held leadership positions at IBM, J.D. Edwards and Company, and spent many years with Digital Equipment Corporation both in the United States as well as in Ireland and France. Coady lectures in Enterprise Systems at the University of Denver, School of Management.
