Eric Slavinsky was named to his current position as Chief Information Officer for all PPL Corporation domestic operations in 2014.
He joined the company as CIO for LG&E and KU in 2010 and continues to serve in a leadership capacity as a key executive strategist in shaping the future of the organization and the industry, and as the principal information technology leader for the company.
Slavinsky has more than 20 years of experience in information technology and came to LG&E and KU from Comcast Communications, where he served as vice president of Information Technology for the company’s East Division. He was responsible for all technology, including call center, network, server, storage and infrastructure for Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, West Virginia and Ohio.
He also has held upper-level management positions with Delphi Corporation, Kelly Services Inc., and Dimension Data Holdings of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Slavinsky has a BBA in management information technology from Cleary University in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Slavinsky serves on the Kentucky Center for the Arts Endowment Board, as well as the Kentucky Center for the Arts Facilities Committee. His professional/trade memberships include Edison Electric Institute’s CIO Group. He is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Louisville, a 2011 graduate of Focus Louisville and a volunteer for Metro United Way.
