Liz King oversees the White Plains Hospital infrastructure as well as its numerous offsite Ambulatory Physician Practices in strategic systems support and administrative operations. Since joining White Plains Hospital in 2012, Liz has demonstrated strong leadership skills on a variety of projects including: Successfully guiding the Hospital through multiple EMR upgrades, ensuring the Hospital achieved Meaningful Use, as well as host operational workflow enhancements and project implementations. Liz brings more than two decades of Information Technology (IT) leadership experience to her role, with 18 of those years in healthcare IT specifically. Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Liz was the Delivery Manager for Dell Healthcare IT assigned to Stellaris for 7 years. Immediately prior to that, she led IT for Greenwich Hospital. Elizabeth holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology among many other certifications.
Her strengths include providing vision and strong leadership, improving service delivery through embracing effective and efficient use of technology. She is successfully accomplishing her goal which was to transform the technology department to be flexible, adaptable and responsive to customer needs, performing exceptionally every day. Elizabeth believes that the strategic, effective implementation and adoption of technology in Health Care overall enhances communication, and allows for quality patient care and improving population health outcomes.
