Debbie Simkins is the associate vice president for the office of the CIO at Molina Healthcare, Inc. In this role, Simkins oversees centralized support services for the Information Technology department, which includes the project management office (PMO), service and portfolio management, IT communications, enterprise testing function and service desk/Network Operations Center. In this role, she also oversees the service desk and Global Operations Center.
Simkins has more than 20 years of leadership and consulting experience in large-scale program delivery, portfolio management, and information technology in the health care/managed care industry. She previously served as the company’s IT director for client services and new business / acquisitions. Prior to joining Molina, she served as the IT director for Alere Medical, Inc. where she implemented the company’s next generation DayLink Monitor and managed relationships with key clients including United Healthcare and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Pomona College, her Master of Science in Gerontology and Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Simkins is also Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and PMI-certified.
