David Judson joined The Scotts MiracleGro Company in 2006 and is currently the Sr Director, Business Intelligence. In his role, he is responsible for the systems, data, and information that drive enterprise decision making – including data warehousing, business intelligence, collaboration, content management, and the company’s corporate intranet. Dave lives in the real world of managing BI operations (data accuracy, availability, access) as well as driving the people, process, data, and technology investments to move beyond “reporting on what happened” toward delivering analytics – to answer the business whys and what ifs.
Prior to joining The Scotts MiracleGro Company, he led multi-million dollar business intelligence and data warehousing transformation projects at Eastman Kodak and Rockwell Collins. In the past year, SAPInsider magazine and SAPExpert have published articles on the success of initiatives within Dave’s organization and over the past decade he has been a speaker at regional gatherings and national conferences.
