Celso Mello has nearly 30 years of IT experience. He started as a computer programmer in the 80s, went through various mid management positions and has been a CIO for the last 10 years. Through his career, Celso worked for different businesses such as software developers, telecommunication providers and global industrials. Originally from Brazil, Celso has worked in Europe and in the U.S. as well, and has been in Canada since 2004. Currently, Celso is the corporate CIO position for Reliance Comfort, Canada’s #1 provider of home comfort services like heating and cooling solutions, with over 1.8 million customers. Celso has a technical degree in Computer Science, a B.S. in Mathematics, an M.B.A. with concentration in International Business and an Advanced Business Certificate in Information Technology. Mr. Mello is a Beta Gamma Sigma honour society member and speaks 4 languages. He is a columnist for IT online magazine TechTarget. Celso is married, has two young daughters and lives in Oakville, Ontario. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, playing tennis and experimenting with small home improvement projects
