Cara Dailey serves as Chief Data Officer for Bank of the West, a regional financial services company headquartered in San Francisco. In her role she is focused on the bank’s data strategy to support risk and finance data integration, enterprise data governance and quality program.
As a senior financial services executive she has extensive experience leading organizations to leverage their data as a key strategic asset. Over the past several years she has spent her time transforming business processes into innovative solutions driving towards data management and governance practices. In addition to that she is a subject matter expert in risk and regulatory activities such as data aggregation, stress testing, and regulatory reporting strategies.
Prior to her role at Bank of The West she was at GE Capital in various leadership roles across technology, concentrating in data management, data quality, and business intelligence.
