Brian Simmermon is Chief Information Officer for Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA), headquartered in Cherry Hill, N.J. Brian joined SOA in 2005. Prior to joining SOA, Brian was Senior Vice President of Enterprise Applications Development at QVC, Inc. where he orchestrated a strategic move to Enterprise applications in UK, Germany, Japan and the US. From 1986-2003, Brian was with the Franklin Mint, most recently as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He took on progressive leadership roles such as Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of European Operations with facilities in 11 international locations. Brian's accomplishments include a strategic business plan that reduced costs by 60 percent; P&L responsibility for the $120 million European business; and the successful launch of an e-commerce Web site. Brian is active in several Information Technology organizations including the Society of Information Management Professionals and the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group. He also is chair person for a local CIO round table group.
