Brandon Champion has over 20 years of technology and security experience and joined Syneos Health as its Chief Information Security Officer in 2018. Syneos Health is a global $4B Contract Research Organization (CRO) with over 25,000 employees. Prior to his current role, he was the Director of Global Information Security at Qorvo Inc., an international S&P 500 semiconductor company. He has previously held technical leadership positions of increasing responsibilities in the insurance, finance, and defense industries. Additionally, Mr. Champion serves as the Senior Signal Chief Warrant Officer in the North Carolina Army National Guard and is assigned to the State’s Defensive Cyber Operations Team where he supports international, national, and local security missions. He is also an adjunct professor for several universities where he teaches courses in cybersecurity and business technology. Mr. Champion has earned an MBA from North Carolina State University where he was selected as a McLauchlan Leadership Fellow, an M.S. in Information Technology from University of Maryland University College, and a B.S. in Applied Information Technology (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Baltimore. He holds a number of certifications including CISSP and PMP.
