Bob is the immediate past president of the Society for Information Management, having served as president during 2008 which was SIM's 40th anniversary of service to its members. Bob has more than 25 years experience in information systems having begun his career in the medical industry working with Brookhaven National Laboratories and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. He worked with Kraft Foods for twelve years holding several senior IT management positions. He then joined ConAgra Foods serving as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for their refrigerated foods division. He was previously Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Russell Corporation. Currently, Bob's is Senior VP and Chief Information Officer for Mueller Water Products, Inc. located in Atlanta, GA. Bob is active with Atlanta's technology community serving with United Way's Tech Initiative, Women in Technology's outreach program and TechBridge's non-profit advocacy. He is also involved with local business schools: a "Mentor in Residence" at Georgia Tech, on the advisory board at University of Alabama and a guest lecturer at Georgia State University. Bob is a graduate of SIM's Regional Leadership Forum, an active member of SIM's Advanced Practices Council and has served on the SIM Atlanta Chapter's Board of Directors since 2003.
