Barry Vandevier has been Travelocity's chief technology officer since October 2002, and is responsible for all architecture decisions and technical direction. Vandevier joined Travelocity as lead software developer in 1996 where he was instrumental in implementing site functionality. Prior to joining the company, he was a consultant for Sabre Holdings. Before Sabre, Vandevier was employed as an industrial engineer for American Airlines.
