Antonio is a regular speaker at managed hosting, virtualization and cloud computing conferences, and the author of the T1R Managed Hosting and Cloud Infrastructure series reports. Antonio also serves as the Conference Director for Tier1's European Hosting Transformation Summit. Prior to joining Tier1, Antonio spent a decade in the Telecom, CDN and software development industries. During this time, he was Director of IP & Data Services for China Telecom, and Telecom Italia. His creation of a video streaming distribution network while at Teleglobe achieved success as a 'Top 10 Broadband Streaming Implementation' by the Aberdeen Group, which led to a position managing technical business development with Akamai Technologies. Antonio started his career in the satellite space, leading TDMA development for INTELSAT. Following a decade in the Internet sector, he was made a member of The Society of Industry Professionals.
