As an analyst, she helps organizations with supply chain strategy and best practices using DDVN methodologies, frameworks and maturity models. Jane also covers sales and operations planning.
Jane joined Gartner following the company's acquisition of AMR Research. She joined AMR in June 2006, focusing on research and advisory assistance in supply chain strategy and planning; becoming demand-driven; sales and operations planning; supply chain segmentation and complexity management; supplier management and collaboration; order management in configurable product environments; metrics and scorecards; and the role of councils and COEs in driving supply chain excellence. Prior to joining AMR Research, Jane spent more than 20 years in IT, manufacturing, technology and consulting industries, working for QAD, Fujitsu Glovia, OpenPro, HP and Unilever. Her experience includes consulting in manufacturing organizations (industrial, A&D, automotive suppliers, CP, food and beverage, pharma and high tech). Initiatives typically covered financials/cost management, order-to-cash, planning, manufacturing and procure-to-pay processes. She moved from South Africa to the U.S. in July 2000.
