Previously, Peterson was a partner in the consumer products industry practice of IBM Business Consulting Services, the successor to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Consulting. In this role, he was responsible for facilitating the alignment of business and IT strategies, and leading large-scale business process and technology transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 global consumer packaged good companies such as Keebler, Goodyear, Sara Lee, Kimberly-Clark, ConAgra Foods and Campbell Soup.
Peterson began his consulting career in 1991 as a senior consultant with the Management Consulting Services practice of Price Waterhouse LLP (PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP). Before that, he held various internal financial positions for Chicago Title Insurance Company.
