As the global Chief Information Officer at Nortel Networks, Steven is responsible for managing one of the largest enterprise networks in the world and is often asked to share his expertise with corporate officers around the world, as a key note conference speaker. Prior to joining Nortel, Steven served as CIO for Lenovo Group, a global producer of PC products and value-added professional services where he helped lead the company through the initial stages of its $11 billon IBM spin-off in 2005. Prior to Lenovo, Steven served as executive vice president and CIO for DHL Worldwide, a global market leader in the international express and logistics industry. Phil Laplante is Professor of Software Engineering at Penn State's Great Valley Graduate Center.
