Tim joined Wellmark in November 2011. As Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO), Tim is responsible for Wellmark’s Business Technology Services division, which includes oversight of application development, data warehousing, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, enterprise program/project management, business planning and analysis, and quality assurance. Prior to joining Wellmark, Tim spent nearly 12 years at UnitedHealth Group, where he was most recently CIO for its OptumHealth Care Solutions business. He also held various other leadership roles across UnitedHealth Group within the areas of enterprise data and analytics strategy; global IT operations/infrastructure; and information security. Earlier in his career, Tim worked in network architecture and information security at IBM. In his role, Mr. Colisto is responsible for driving and executing an enterprise IT strategy for the company, including shepherding the overall company strategy with respect to information technology trends, driving efficiencies across the organization, improving delivery of IT services and products to the business, and building on our existing culture of operational excellence. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. Colisto served as senior vice president and chief information officer for leading global water technology company, Xylem Inc. He has also held senior IT roles with K. Hovnanian Companies, one of the U.S.’ largest homebuilders, and Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, a global, research-driven pharmaceutical company.
